The World Boxing Federation (WBF) crowned three new champions over the weekend, with title fights taking place in Tijuana, Mexico on Friday November 30, and Rastatt, Germany and Tepic, Mexico on Saturday December 1.

On Friday at the Big Punch Arena in Tijuana, Kylie Fulmer from Australia, fighting for the sixth straight time in Mexico, captured the vacant WBF Womens Intercontinental Super Bantamweight title with a convincing performance against Mexican Dulce Galaviz.

Fulmer (36) improved her record to 6-0 (5) when she stopped Galaviz in the fourth round on a show promoted by AZTK Boxing & MMA Promotions. 22-year-old “La Mexicanita” Galaviz, a short notice replacement, drops to 2-6-1 (2).

In the main event of a show at the Altrheinhalle in Rastatt, Germany on Saturday, Kosovo-born Kamer Maloku captured the vacant WBF International Super Middleweight title, stopping Argentinian Miguel Angel Suarez in round four.

Maloku (30) improved his pro ledger to 8-2 (5), and Suarez (37) goes back to Buenos Aires at 15-3 (9).

Also on Saturday, back in Mexico at the Palenque de la Feria in Tepic, the Nayarit state capital, veteran war-horses Ramon Barajas and Joel Juarez squared off for the vacant WBF Mexico Welterweight crown, with Barajas coming out on top by fourth round technical knockout.

Local man “Cholo” Barajas (33), the featured attraction for La Cueva Boxing Promotions, takes his professional record to 12-16 (5), while “Dinamita” Juarez (39), a former WBA Continental Americas Champion, falls to 32-34-2 (28).
