It is “Make Or Break”, as the show has been labelled, on March 30 when Kalakoda Promotions present David Rajuili vs. Nkululeko Venganayi for the vacant World Boxing Federation (WBF) All Africa Lightweight title at Mistico Equestrian Center in Cape Town, South Africa.

Rajuili, 10-8-1 (3), has gone through a rough spell since winning the WBF International Super Featherweight title by beating Georgian Giorgi Gachechiladze at the WBF World Convention in Maribor, Slovenia in September of 2016.

While he scored another good win in his next fight, he then lost three straight, was stripped of his title, and saw his stock drop considerably. However, the 29-year-old from Buksburg in Gauteng returned to winning-ways last November, and is now ready to claim his second title in a new weight class.

Zimbabwe-born, South Africa-based puncher Nukululeko Venganayi, 10-5 (9), is also on a mission to resurrect his career. In his most recent outing he lost to Joe Murray in England, and this is a major opportunity for him to put his name on the map.

Venganayi (34) will enjoy home-town support for the fight, as he resides in Cape Town suburb Sea Point. He also carries the harder punch, but Rajuili has youth on his side, and probably has a slight advantage in technique.

It is truly “Make or Break” in this encounter, televised by Kwese Sports and Soweto TV, as the winner will be eligible for bigger opportunities, and the loser will likely be pushed back in line.
